I’ve been back in the UK, hiding away on the Suffolk coast for a few days. A strange mix of romantic old Inglish countryside and weird flag-shagging dystopia has left me poring over the industrial downbeat of the visionary Sabres of Paradise. Taken from 1994’s Haunted Dancehall on Warp Records. I might write about the entire album later.
